Many of us have experienced stepping in dog poop.
It is not the best of smells or sight.
This is simply because someone took their dog out for a walk and did not clean up after them.
This is highly irresponsible; even if you do not have doggie bags, you are still expected to find something to remove it.
Plastic bags are not generally recommended as they are not environmentally friendly.
They take many years to break down.
Doggie bags are much better as these usually take around 3 years to break down and are more preferable for the environment.
People should feel a sense of responsibility to take care of the environment and pick up after their animal.
They themselves might have stepped in dog poop before and more than likely didn't like the feeling either.
If this ignorant practice was wide spread, eventually parks and walk areas would ban dogs from it and as a consequence people would complain.
At this time, they are still free to walk their dogs and should really work hard to keep that privilege.
There are some fellow pet owners that feel bad when they see poop that hasn't been cleaned.
They would use their own personal doggie bags to clean up the mess to ensure the surroundings are clean for everybody.
Awareness of the issues should be put on the forefront to educate dog owners.
If they do not follow through, then some kind of limitations may be put on them.
The nature of people sometimes allows them to have disregard to public spaces and to other people.
This is so because if the owner doesn't clean up the mess somebody still has to do it.
If not a fellow dog owner, maybe the ancillary staff of the park would have to take it up.
This isn't fair to them as the dog is the owner's responsibility and not theirs.
